Dritz Petite Press Portable Mini Iron Review

One pet peeve of mine when it comes to ironing, is those teeny tiny corners and edges and spaces around embroidery that are just so tricky to get smooth and pressed. Well I've found a great solution to all of those hard to get to wrinkles!

I was sent a Dritz Petite Press to try and it really gets the job done!  The Dritz Petite Press is a portable mini iron that works great for sewing, quilting and crafting and is also great for travel and ironing small corners and cuffs, pressing edges of quilting fabrics and for pressing seams flat!

The Petite Press has an easy to read digital control pad to easily adjust temperature settings and is able to adjust temperature in just a matter of seconds!   There are 4 temperature settings ranging from approximately 176 degrees Fahrenheit to 410 degrees Fahrenheit.

It also has an adjustable head with 4 different positions to get just the right angle for the job.  And you don't have to worry about burning a counter top or board because its equipped with a convenient built in stand for when its idol.

I love using the Petite Press for Emma's clothes!  Her outfits are so tiny and several of her outfits have embroidered designs on them.  It drives me bonkers when there are little wrinkles around the embroidered flowers and the small edges of the Petite Press get right in there and get the wrinkles right out.  I also used this for a couple of my dress shirts when we went out of town for an anniversary getaway!  I had a nice freshly pressed top for our date night!

And the Petite Press would work wonders with Dritz Iron On Letters for super fun projects!  Read my review of Dritz Iron On Letters if you're looking for a fun family or team project!

And the small size of the Petite Press makes it great for packing away and taking on vacation.  Its so small and compact that it would easily fit in any suitcase or carry on bag.  But even in spite of its small size, it packs a lot of power to get the job done!

I love the Dritz Petite Press and if you're any kind of crafter or enjoy sewing I would definitely recommend getting one!  And if you do any traveling, you'll definitely want one of your own!  This iron is going with us on all of our vacations from now on!

There are so many products from Dritz that I LOVE, the possibilities are endless!

  1. I'm trying to get into sewing so this might be something worth getting. And it would be great for travel too since we travel for church quite often.
