Halloween 2013 Was A Hit!

Well...Emma Bee's first Halloween was a hit!
And the baby bee costume I made for her turned out pretty good too!

On Halloween Eve, we went to Trunk Or Treat at my parents church.  Trunk Or Treat is where people from the church dress up and decorate the trunks of their cars and the kids go from car to car trick or treating.  My parents dressed up as the guys from Duck Dynasty....even my mom was in a beard!

The Halloween evening we took Emma Bee to our downtown trick or treating at all of the shops.  It was packed with people and Emma Bee got to be in the costume parade for kids aged 0-4.  Then we came home, got cozy in our Halloween pjs and handed out candy for the trick or treaters.  Mr. Bee counted 21 kids!

  1. She was the cutest bee ever! It looks like you guys had a lot of fun! We didn't really dress up...maybe next year!

    1. I've always LOVED Halloween and I'm so excited to be able to be more festive and get dressed up every year with Emma! Taking the kiddo trick or treating is just a good reason for mom and dad to get dressed up too!

  2. We went to a trick or treating with some friends at the mall and we all dressed in flannel and went as a "lumberjack family." I think next year, when my son is walking and more excited about trick or treating, we'll go door to door. Emma looks so adorable in her little Bee outfit - love her CD!

  3. What a hoot your parent's costumes are. Very clever idea. Love your little bumble bee with the flowers. She looks really happy. We were Jedi knights here for about the third year running.

  4. What an adorable idea. My baby is still too little, but I'm already excited about next year.

  5. Emma-Bee is adorable! I really love the flower on her head! How cute! I can't wait to dress my Little One up next year.

  6. This is the cutest! Did she like the trunk or treat??

  7. Awwww too cute! I could look at pictures of babies in costumes all day long haha
