Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil Review & GIVEAWAY!

Coconut oil is one of those things that just has a wealth of uses!  So many different ways to use it and so many different ways to enjoy it!  I first discovered coconut oil because it was all the cloth diaper moms could talk about.  I was reading about so many moms who were using coconut oil as a cloth diaper safe diaper rash cream.  So I started investigating more into the top brands of coconut oil and I discovered Tropical Traditions!  They have an amazing reputation for carrying great, natural, organic products with great customer service!

Tropical Traditions sent me a jar of their Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil to try and I just love it!

Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil is made from the best ingredients!  Its purely unrefined coconut oil and it is USDA Certified Organic!  It is made from organic coconuts, harvested by hand from family farms on Mt. Banahaw, in the Philippines.  The coconuts are used when they are fresh, within 24-48 hours being picked and are grown in nutrient rich volcanic soil!

I used Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil as a diaper rash cream and loved it!  I also use it on my skin in the same way I would a lotion! But now, I don't even use body lotion anymore. Just coconut oil!  I love it!  And of course I use it like a baby lotion for Emma too.  Even though her skin is already baby soft, its good to keep it that way.  And it makes her skin smell like fresh yummy coconuts!

Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil is great because its safe to use with cloth diapers!  A lot of medicated diaper rash creams and heavy creams will leave a build up on your cloth diapers that is nearly impossible to wash out but Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil doesn't leave any staining or residue on your cloth diapers!

Its also great for cooking!  Ive read about moms using it to bake with and make cookies with but I love ethnic foods!  My best friend introduced me to homemade curry years back and ever since, I love making curry at home.  I use Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil to saute my meats and veggies before adding in the coconut milk and curry paste and veggies.  It infuses the meat with that wonderful coconut essence and its just delicious.  It gives my curry a little something extra that it didn't have before!

Another fun way that I used Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil was in soap!  One of my favorite hobbies is making homemade soaps!  I added Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil to my soap mixture and made these cute and fun pina colada  soap-sickles!
