MIRA Touch Professional Digital Kitchen Scale Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.
I have this old pink kitchen scale that Ive been using for years to do measuring in the kitchen while I'm cooking and preparing foods.  It was cheap, Ill admit.  But it worked fairly decent until recently.  I have been in the market for a new kitchen scale and recently tried a MIRA bathroom scale that I really liked.  So when I discovered that MIRA carried a kitchen scale, I was super excited to try it!

The scale that I got is the MIRA Touch Professional Digital Kitchen Scale and as you can see, its pretty sleek!  This one isn't plastic like my old scale. This one is heavy duty tempered glass.  A fact I didn't know before is that this glass is 4 times stronger than regular glass.  Which is awesome!  Id hate for glass to shatter while I'm cooking.  Plus this scale has a really large LCD screen which is great for my bad eye sight.

It has multiple functions so you can measure in grams, ounces and pounds and also has a tare function to zero out containers.  It also comes in several colors so that you can find a color to make your kitchen.  I got the white and really like it!

As Ive mentioned in other reviews.  I hate it when a product needs batteries and doesn't come with batteries.  My scale came with batteries!!  WOO WHO!!!  So I was able to get it out and use it right away.   It was accurate when I was using it.  I tested the scale with a few items in my pantry that I knew exact weights for an it was dead on just like my MIRA bathroom scale.  I really love the tempered glass and the sleek design.  Its really modern looking and not gaudy like others kitchen scales Ive used.  Plus its small and thin so its really easy to store.  The tempered glass is super easy to clean and sanitize too!

So far, I love my MIRA products!  If you're needing a new kitchen scale, you can head on over to Amazon and order your own MIRA Touch Professional Digital Kitchen Scale!

  1. What do you use your kitchen scale for? I confess I've never used one!

    1. I actually use my kitchen scale for tons of things! In the kitchen they are great if you're trying to cut portions. Weighing out a serving of meat for example. I also weight ingredients for cooking. I have a Foodsaver vac sealer (one of my favorite kitchen must haves) that I use to package foods to freeze and often weigh them by the pound before I seal and freeze. Ill package up green beans to freeze from the garden or Ill get ground meat in bulk and then repackage it in one pound packages to freeze. I make cold process soaps as well so I use my scale to weigh out my oils and lye. AND I use my kitchen scale to weigh packages that I'm going to take to the post office. 1st class shipping is cheaper as long as a package is under 13 oz so I weigh everything I ship.
