Adovia Pure Dead Sea Mud Facial Mask Review

Recently I've been reviewing more beauty and skin care products.  Its something I've really been enjoying.  I think the last time I did any type of mask for my face was probably in junior high school.  I don't remember what kind it was but I remember doing this mask that dried and peeled off my face like a big sheet of dried glue.  It was weird and fun but I honestly cant remember if I liked what it did or didn't do to my skin.  But when I saw this Pure Dead Sea Mud Facial Mask from Adovia, I really wanted to try it because I really don't do much to pamper myself.  And I thought a home facial might be nice.

When I first opened the jar, I thought to myself.....what the heck am I doing?  It has this very pungent sort of minty aroma.  I couldn't quite put my finger on it.  And I kind of thought that there is no way this stuff is natural with a smell like that.  Now, I'm not saying it was  bad smell at all.  It smelled super good actually but I just thought it had to be something artificial.  But then I looked at the jar closer and read the ingredients.  That's when I realized what that familiar scent was.  Calendula and eucalyptus!   As soon as I saw those 2 words.....I was in love.  I read through the ingredients and the pungent aroma was from the pure natural oils, not something artificial.  Its 100% natural and free of parabans, sulfates and phosphates.  Its also not tested on animals so its cruelty free and certified organic and vegan.  That's pretty great in my opinion!

I applied the mask to my face and got this amazing cooling sensation.  It felt awesome!  And the aroma from the oils was sort of like aromatherapy.  I really wanted to do this mask a couple of days in a row but the jar says weekly so I suppose I can wait.  The cool thing is that this mask contains Dead Sea Mud which is known for containing numerous minerals that help condition, cleanse and detox your skin.

Normally I need to use face moisturizer really really often.  At least a few times a day.  Especially after any sort of cleansing of my face.  But after I got done doing the mask, I didn't need any face lotion at all.  To be quite honest.....that sort of shocked me.  I've never been able to put anything on my face without following up with a moisturizer.  Even the morning after, my face still felt soft and moist and refreshed.  Ill definitely order another tub of this after this one is gone.

You can order this on Amazon if you're interested in trying it for yourself.  This is something I'm going to keep in my weekly routine for sure!
