My husband grilled some chicken breast and steaks and we made them into fajitas so we decided to use this as a opportunity to try out the gloves.
They are pretty heavy duty. But I think this kind of gives these gloves a disadvantage. My husband said that while he was grilling while wearing them, his hands got super hot. Not necessarily because of the heat from the grill getting through but just because they were so thick. They are supposed to withstand temperatures of 662 degrees F but hes going to keep them clear of the grill from now on. So in his opinion, he would prefer to use these in the kitchen while baking and cooking. More so as pot holder gloves than grilling gloves. But they're a pretty heavy duty glove for cooking in the kitchen though!
