So what does coconut oil have to do with diapering? Diaper rash! Why do baby butts and coconut oil get along so well? Coconut oil is an amazing moisturizer and is a great healer! I've been putting coconut oil on my kiddo's bum since she was born. Every time she starts to get the slightest bit of diaper rash, I put some coconut oil on her bum and it clears right up! I also use it on my own skin instead of lotion. It makes my skin crazy soft and smooth. I loved TheraVita's Paradise! It did just what I knew it would. I used it on Emma's butt and used it on my skin for a moisturizer. I also used it for a moisturizer for Emma too. She loved having her feet massaged with Paradise Coconut Oil!
The only thing I was sorta bummed about, was the fact that it doesn't have the coconut smell. It doesn't smell like anything at all. Now for some folks, that might be a good thing. There is definitely a difference between real coconut smell and artificial coconut fragrance. Some folks don't like the scent of real coconut. I do though! Love it! So I was bummed but that won't deter me from using it. It actually does make this coconut oil more versatile. Because when I use other brands that have that strong coconut oil scent, I cant apply any perfumes because the scents mix and make me smell funny. But with Paradise I can use this anytime and still wear perfumes and not smell like a weird mix of smells. So that is a plus! And if you're sniffer is sensitive to fragrances, you don't have to worry about any smell.
