Rock The Holidays With Nicki's Diapers One Size Pocket & One Size All-In-One Bamboo Cloth Diaper Review

I have always been a fan of Nicki's Diapers!   If you're not a devoted fan already you're bound to be sooner or later.  Nicki's Diapers is an online store (with a retail store in Madison, Wisconsin) that features so many awesome products such as cloth diapers, babywearing products, items for moms and baby, laundry products, baby gear and so much great stuff for crunchy moms too!  But not only does Nicki's Diapers sell a huge selection of cloth diapers but Nicki's Diaper has their own exclusive line of cloth diapers and I was dying to get Emma into theses babies!

So in the spirit of Thankful For Cloth Month, the folks at Nicki's Diapers were gracious enough to send us two diapers to dress up Miss Emma Bee's bum and they came just in time for the holidays.  Now....look at these diapers and tell me they don't just scream HOLIDAY CHEER!!!!!

There are tons of other cool prints and colors but these ones were my favorite.  I'm totally in the red and green holiday mood!  We tried the Nicki's Diapers One Size Pocket Diaper and the Nicki's Diapers One Size Bamboo All-In-One cloth diaper!  I loved them both because my favorite styles are pockets and All-In-Ones!

This AIO (all-in-one) is great and super easy to clean and fits Emma really well too.
And the bamboo is so so soft on her tushy!

I love All-In-Ones! They are just so easy!  Emma's daddy helps with diaper laundry.  Not all the time, but sometimes.  He doesn't wash but hell hang the diapers to dry for me and hell stuff and fold.  So AIOs are great when hes stuffing because he gets a little stressed out trying to match inserts to diapers.  I tell him that I really don't care for the most part but he still gets flustered.  So AIO diapers are great because its all right there!

Our AIO from Nicki's Diapers is so so so soft inside!  The lining is made of bamboo and it feels like a plush terrycloth type material.  The texture of the lining is just great.  It reminds me of a luxury bath towel.  And the natural fibers are great because they can be right against my baby's skin.

The soaker is snapped into the diaper with 2 snaps so you can remove it if you need to give the soaker some extra laundry love.  I like that.  Because if we have a mess that only gets on the soaker, I like to take it out so I can just soak or stain treat the soaker and not the whole diaper.  But if I don't need to, I can leave it all attached in the wash.

This AIO is a one size diaper and fits babies from 8 to 35+ pounds so its got the snap down rise.  The snaps seem to be of really good sturdy quality.  I can usually tell the first time I snap a diaper, whether or not I'll be replacing the snaps later.  And these seem good and sturdy.  My kiddo has figured out how to undo a lot of her diapers so having good snug snaps is a huge plus for this mama!  And its got a great fit around my daughter's tummy and legs.

The pocket diaper was great and super easy to stuff!

This diaper has two pockets for easy stuffing, one in the front and one in back.  I like it when diapers have the 2 pocket openings and with this one, the front opening was a little bigger and made stuffing easier for my husband since his hands are bigger than mine.  We've had some pocket diapers with small openings and that made it harder for him to stuff and usually resorted to just lying the insert down the center.  But this diaper was easy for him to stuff.

The other great thing about these 2 openings in the diaper, is the fact that you don't have to un-stuff for laundry day.  The 2 openings help make it so that the insert will work its way out of the diaper in the wash so you can just throw it in the machine and don't have to worry about pulling out a soggy insert. Ew!  Love it when the diaper does ALL the work for me!

It came with a really absorbent microfiber soaker that's made of 4 layers of microfiber so it can hold a lot of liquid.  It also has snaps on the insert so that you can customize the size.  This type of insert works great for a one size diaper because you can use it for smaller babies and size it down to make it shorter and then extend it when your baby moves up in size.  Just fold it over and snap.  Piece of cake!

And of course since its a one size diaper and fits babies from 8 pounds on up to 35+ pounds, its got a snap down rise with good quality snaps here too!  The inside lining is soft and CUTE!  Love the colored lining!  Its made of no-pill fleece.

This diaper also has a great fit for Emma!
Its nice and snug around her tummy and her legs but not too snug to leave red marks.

Overall, I was impressed by both of these diapers.  I love the natural soft feel of the bamboo.  And I love that the insert agitates out of the pocket in the wash and that the pocket is so easy for my husband to stuff.  I don't think I can decide which is my favorite because each has great qualities.   If you're kind of a lover of all things cloth like me, you'll probably like both styles.  But if you're a strictly AIO or strictly pocket parent, then I would recommend either of these diapers!

Check out the Nicki's Diapers website and while you're shopping around for these diapers, be sure to check out the rest of their awesome products too!  They've got a page dedicated to their holiday specials with some adorable holiday prints and festive items for great gift ideas!
