Giveaway! Celebrating Firsts With Pampers Swaddlers #PampersFirsts

Did you know that Pampers Swaddlers are the #1 choice of hospitals in North America?  They have a color changing wetness indicator that signals when baby may need to be changed and an Absorb Away Liner to pull wetness away from babies' delicate skin.   And the size range is available all the way up to size 6!  Of all of the Pampers diapers, Pampers Swaddlers are the softest and offer up to 12 hours of overnight protection.  And Pampers is helping parents celebrate first!  Pampers has comforted millions of babies through their entire journey of amazing firsts over the years.   And they understand that there is nothing more rewarding and memorable that a first-time moment with baby and their family.  The first time your baby rolls over, the first time they smile or giggle.  Their first steps.  In honor of these amazing firsts, Pampers has released a video titled "A Newborn Journey of Firsts" to celebrate those amazing first moments.

Check out the Pampers Firsts video below!

We used Pampers when Emma was first born.  Her first moments in her very first home, her first moments in her crib and in my arms were spent in Pampers.  My baby girl was born premature.  She was such a tiny little thing.  We had planned on cloth diapering her, but when she was born early, we hardly had any cloth diapers to use on her.  And because she was so tiny, the few newborn cloth diapers we had were way too big for her.  They were so big that they literally fell right off of her tiny little bum.   We used some newborn Pampers Swaddlers in the hospital.  They worked great but they were still a little big, even on my newborn.  So when we brought Emma home, we bought some more Pampers.  These teeny tiny little Pampers preemie sized diapers.  She was 5 pounds 5 ounces when she first came home.  She also had jaundice.  She still got to come home with us but had to spend the first couple of weeks of her life strapped to a bilirubin light.  We had nurses that came to our home every morning to check her bilirubin levels and draw blood from her tiny little feet.  It was heart breaking to watch and for me as a new mom, not being able to hold her and cuddle her like I felt I needed to and sooth her discomfort and quiet her cries was one of the hardest things I've ever had to go through.

But I can't help but smile, thinking back on those memories because my tiny little sweetheart has grown up into this beautiful, wonderful, energetic, kind hearted little girl with a personality bigger than the moon!  And I am so proud of her!  I still have a few of those tiny Pampers Swaddlers tucked away in a keepsake box.  I saved a few so that I could always remember how tiny she was when her life first began.
