Natural Headache + Pain Relief With Essential Oils

I've been having a lot of headaches lately.  It could be the busy, stressful mom schedule getting to me.  Maybe is the lack of sleep.  Or my toddler in the midst of her crazy twos.  The fact that I live in Iowa and I'm stuck in the house like a hibernating bear when I'd much rather be outside gardening and soaking up the sunshine.  I don't know why.  But I do know that my headaches have been daily and really getting on my nerves!

Ive been on a mission to rid our house of unnatural, chemical junk.  I've been throwing out cleaning products, cosmetics, over the counter and prescription meds.  Trying to live a more natural, healthy, minimalist lifestyle.  I'm tired of filling my body with unnatural crap that in the long run, could cause a lot more damage in the long run than the temporary relief I might get from it now is even worth.  I've been doing a total medicine cabinet makeover.

You might have recently read about my new found love of Young Living Essential Oils.  I am hooked!  I LOVE being able to use a natural remedy for all sorts of ailments.  Not just for me but for my family as well.  My health is important but my family's health?  Well I'm a mom, so naturally my family's health is at the top of my priority list!

Natural Headache + Pain Relief

Young Living Peppermint Essential Oil
One of my new found Young Living Peppermint Essential Oil!  Its amazing!  The scent is refreshing and uplifting.  It also has an amazing cooling sensation.   I love putting Young Living Peppermint EO in a capsule and taking it with a glass of water to help with indigestion and upset stomach.  But I especially love the way it clears up my headaches...within MINUTES!

Its simple.  Just a dab on my finger and apply to my temples.  My headache is gone in minutes.  And I love the fresh scent of peppermint.  Its calming yet energizing at the same time.  It just a great way to clear your head!

Young Living PanAway Essential Oil Blend
And if you're not a fan of other PanAway Essential Oil Blend!  This one is good for a lot of things relating to pain.  I've had stiffness and pain in my neck and rubbed a bit of PanAway on the back of my neck and the pain was gone.  I was having a weird pinching muscle spasm in my thigh, applied a bit of PanAway and the spasm stopped in just a few minutes.

For my headaches, I like to apply PanAway to three places, depending on where my headache is originating from.  For a tension headache in the back, I apply a dab at the base of my skull.  For headache pain that's more towards the front, I like to apply it to my temples, across my forehead or to my cheekbones or along the sides of my nose for a sinus headache.  The relief is almost instant!  And it smells amazing too.  This one is perfect if you're not a fan of Peppermint.  And PanAway is incredibly versatile.  I've used it for join pain and even used it on cuts.  I also slammed my finger with a hammer and PanAway gave me relief in minutes.

Both Peppermint and PanAway come in the Premium Starter Kit!
