Turning 2 Disney Style! Our Royal Disney @Home Birthday Celebration #DisneySide

I have so many wonderful memories from my childhood.   I was a huge Mickey Mouse fan when I was little.  I think that was probably a result of my mother's love of Disney and the fact that she decorated my room with Mickey Mouse.  I remember having a Mickey bedspread on my first big girl bed as a toddler.  We also visited Disney World in Florida when I was little.  I remember being on a serious mission to find and meet Mickey Mouse.  Along the way, we ran into Chip and Dale, who ended up stealing our bag of CHIPS as a prop for our photo opp.

Disney is magical and always has been magical for me.  There's nothing better than curling up on a snowy day, cuddling with my daughter under a warm blanket, hanging out in our PJs watching old Disney Classics.  We definitely have a Disney Side!   My mother and I often talk about the day we'll finally take Emma to Disney World and introduce her to that same old Disney magic that I experienced as a child.  Some day we'll be there!  But for now, we'll show our Disney Side at home!
We threw Emma a Disney Princess party in honor of her big day!
It was a 2 year old Princess's dream party!  And mom's too!  And in honor of Princess Emma's 2nd Birthday, Disney Parks and MomSelect sent us everything we needed to host a DisneySide  @Home Celebration to make Emma's 2nd birthday a memorable, royal celebration to remember!

Here is Princess Emma and her Papa!
All ready for her party to start!

Plenty of Princess Sofia party crown hats for her guests!

And a meal fit for royalty!

We prepared a delicious meal for the party with lots of Emma's favorite foods and snacks!

My mom made her delicious caramel corn puffs and her world famous Chex mix!

I made cookie pops by dipping Oreos in almond park and coating with colorful sprinkles!

My amazing sister-in-law brought her delicious Raspberry Sherbet Party Punch!  Just a box of raspberry sherbet and 7-up.  Yummy!   She also makes it with orange sherbet but pink raspberry was perfect for our princess party!

And a fruit pizza that Minnie Mouse herself would be proud of!

And you can't have a Disney Princess birthday without a cake fit for a Queen!
I decorated her cake myself!  Party guests said it was too pretty to eat.  But don't worry, we did.  And it was delicious!

 And don't forget party favors!

I put together fun party favor cups for Emma's friends!  Each of Emma's friends got to take home a reusable Disney Princess cup filled with stickers, lip gloss, princess jewelry, a button from the new Disney Cinderella movie, a magical Princess Sofia wand, a 101 Dalmatians file for manicures and some of our new favorite nail polish.  Non-toxic natural peel off nail polish from Play Love Laugh!  Its veggie and fruit based, non toxic, free of nasty chemicals and peels off without needing polish remover.  Perfect for little Princesses!

Play Love Laugh polished piggies to match her Princess Sofia party dress!

The girls had a blast playing together!

Emma loved playing with her friends, opening presents and reading her cards!

What a wonderful way to turn 2!
We had an amazing time celebrating another year for Emma and had a great time showing our Disney Side!  We can't wait to someday celebrate, experience the magic and show our #DisneySide at Disney Parks!

An Extra Special THANK YOU to:
+ All of our family and friends
that partied with us Disney style
and helped make this party a day to remember!

This post and party were hosted in honor of Disney Parks, #DisneySide and Momselect.  We were provided with some amazing products to help us host our DisneySide @Home Celebration.  I was not compensated for this post and all opinions are my own.  Thank you so much to Disney Parks and MomSelect for helping make Emma's 2nd birthday a celebration to remember!
