Pouch2Go Reusable Baby Food Pouches Review

One thing I am very proud of doing when Em was a baby, was that I made all of her baby foods from scratch.  Not only did I make them all, I grew most of them myself too.  All of her veggie purees were grown in our garden and I steamed and pureed everything for her.  My daughter grew up on homegrown green beans, peas, sweet potatoes, chard and even beets and turnips.  To tell you the truth, the beets and turnips were her favorite.  And man was she cute with a face covered in beets!   I loved using reusable pouches for her purees.  They always made traveling easy and storage was a breeze when I made small batches.  So since I've grown to love reusable food pouches, I was excited to try out a brand called Pouch2Go.

Even though Emma is 2 now, I still like using baby food pouches because they are great for packing lunches on the go for bigger kids.  My kiddo loves strawberry applesauce and pear sauce so packing these in pouches is easy and helps with messes.  These are nice sized too.  A whole 7 ounces of food can fit in these pouches.  My favorite thing about them that's unlike any others I've tried, is that fact that they are clear!  That makes these awesome when it comes to cleaning them.  I can see through them to make sure there isn't any food that didn't get scrubbed out of the corners or places I can't see.  Its also great because most of the time I don't have to label them.  I can clearly tell the difference between apple sauce and sweet potato mash.  And they are also BPA, Phthalate and PVC Free which is a definitely plus.  The caps fit securely and they don't leak.  The zip closure on the bottom of the pouches didn't leak for me either.  And they are reusable so you can use them over and over again making them very ecofriendly.  I really love these pouches and I think they are definitely my favorite brand so far.  So I would highly recommend trying them out.  You can order a set of Pouch2Go Pouches on Amazon for only $14.99 for a set of 5!  And there is a smaller 3.4 ounce option too.

I was provided with a sample free of charge to facilitate this review.  All opinions are my own.

  1. Definitely checking these out! I've actually been thinking of finding some, but didn't have any that people recommended. Now I do! Like you I've always made all my own baby food as well, it's so simple, I'm not really sure why everyone doesn't do it!
