About Our Bees

Welcome to The Bee Hive Buzz!

I first started The Bee Hive Buzz as a way to express myself and share my thoughts, discoveries, fears and loves as a new mom.  After giving birth with my daughter and losing my full time outside of the house job, I found myself isolated and needing a way to communicate and cope with my new life and our struggles.  So I started blogging.  Its been a great way for me to learn, share and grow, not just as a mom.  Since staring my "mommy blog", The Bee Hive Buzz has grown into much more than I ever expected.  I love to write about lots of different topics.  I enjoy backyard homesteading gardening, green and ecofriendly living, sewing, DIY, babies and children, babywearing, cloth diapers, essential oils and pretty much whatever is going on in my crazy life and whatever happens to interest me.

I have changed a lot over the last couple of years and have made so many amazing discoveries.  The Bee Hive Buzz is a place for me to share all of those amazing discoveries with anyone else interested in our life and whats in it.   Along my journey, I needed a way of keeping my ideas, discoveries, projects, favorite products, tips and all of the amazing and useful information I've found organized and in one place.  And maybe along the way, create a place to share all of those ideas and information with other women on the same journey.

Becoming a mother has been quite an adventure so far.   Glorious, yet terrifying all at the same time.  I've always been an explorer, looking to venture out into the world to discover everything about it.  I've traveled the world but to tell you the truth...there really is no place like home!

I hope you'll take the time to peek into our busy buzzing world.  Maybe you'll learn something new or have something new to teach us too!

Welcome to our bee space!
